Email Form Data in FDF
Format: mailto:test@yourmail.com?subject=My
Subject&body=Here is my form data.
Step 4:
You must put your PDF Form under your Web Server
to avoid "Html/text" error or "Unable
to locate the form" error. Also, Adobe Reader 7.0 and later is
recommended for your client to submit.
If you put
your PDF under your local computer, you may
get a FDF file by adobe reader. But, this
FDF file will not point to your local PDF.
FDF is just a text file, you can open it
with WordPad to see the difference.
Please see
the example

Step 5:
Your client must have Email
client installed. We recommend
Microsoft Outlook. Web
Email (Gmail or Yahoo) is not
supported by Adobe Reader.
If this following window doesn't
come up, you may need to
uninstall and then reinstall
Adobe Reader.
After your client click the
"Email Form Data" button, he
should see this email window
like this:
Step 6:
After you receive this email,
save that FDF into that client's
file folder. You may have to
rename that FDF using your
client name.
Click that FDF in your client's
file folder and you should see
the PDF Form filled as the same
as that of the client in Step
4. Select to print your
client filled form in any time.
If
you cannot open FDF file, please
reinstall Adobe Reader so that
Adobe Reader is the default
viewer for FDF and PDF.
